Young deer antlers developing. Velvet growing on whitetail bucks.

These young deer antlers are growing every day. Lots of young bucks in velvet getting ready. I am seeing just a few older bucks but so far nothing in the 4.5 to 5 year old range. The land is 641 acres with creeks and ponds all around. Only 2 people hunt the property so it isn't pressure. Here in South Alabama the velvet will stop growing and the bucks will rub it off in October. This will prepare them for the breeding season.
