Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC review

Xiaomi has another high-value phone option available, the Poco X3 NFC. This is just like every other Poco device before it & almost every other Xiaomi phone on the market.

But the strategy has changed since 2018’s Poco F1. The Poco X3 doesn’t come with a top-tier Snapdragon 8 series processor, because fitting one into a budget phone just doesn’t seem feasible anymore.

Even though its price is relatively low, it has a lot of high-quality features. One example would be its ability to handle intense gaming sessions with no noticeable lag time. The Samsung Galaxy S10 has a large and well-specced screen, and a stereo speaker, and handles prestige titles such as Fortnite exceptionally well. It also comes equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor.

Dolby Vision, a superior color resolution technology, offers an experience that's miles ahead of other brands. The phone also has design and display elements that are uniquely blended for this range--making the Poco X3 a one-of-a-kind premium device.

There are a few small issues that pop up with the Poco X3 NFC. The erratic backlight and system stability updates that come along with it, however, require a firmware update for them to be fixed.

The Poco X3 NFC comes equipped with a 64-megapixel camera, which can produce some stunning shots. However, they often struggle with purple fringing and generally don't offer the best picture quality in its class.

While the camera performance is better than some of its peers, the 2x high-speed mode on the K2000 won't beat out the newest Google Pixel 4A. As for build quality, it leaves a lot to be desired but does perform well in low light.

This is a phone that offers a lot of great features and at a high price. Although it might be appealing to some people, it's not worth the cost.

Design

This gives a mass-market phone that is available at a reasonable price, but the same style and built like most other phones in its market class. It means the back is made out of plastic rather than glass, and the sides out of plastic instead of metal.

You may read online that the sides of this device are metal, but this appears to refer to the thin black band sitting between the glass screen and plastic sides.

The Poco X3 NFC's silicone case is ideal and helps make it less obvious that it is a large device. But be cautious with this phone because its size doesn't mean you can handle it on your own.

The Poco X3 comes with a 6.67-inch screen, which is almost twice as big as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's 6.53-inch screen. This difference is obvious!

The new Poco F1 phone’s large logo is not exactly the smartest 2020 tech design trend. But, that doesn’t mean we hate it.

Poco is hidden in a layer of the case, so while it may look like fashion branding, it has nothing to do with what this Samsung device can do. We prefer the motto "take back control" or "dare to leap" because they are not associated with the electronics company.

The Poco X3 NFC has an interesting case that’s designed to work with & protect your phone. It has a camera housing that is similar in size & shape to the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. The case has a little lip that extends to meet the housing. This is to avoid scuffs on the side panel, should you accidentally drop it.

Display

The Poco X3 NFC is nearly the most advanced display at the price. The 6.67'' IPS LCD will provide you with a 2400x1080 resolution and has a punch hole for the front camera.

While the Poco X3 screen is impressive, it's not just its specs that make it stand out. It also has a 120Hz refresh rate, which most budget phones won't have. This saves you from feeling like your phone is going haywire whenever things get intense.

You will notice the Poco X3 NFC has some unique features that make it a more enjoyable & functional phone than your current device.

The most striking feature of this screen is that it supports a wide gamut of colors and HDR and a 1080p Netflix stream. It also has a very swift refresh rate, which won't impact battery life too much.

The Realme X50 5G doesn’t hit the mark in the brightness department, with a rating of 450 nits. It does offer fast performance, though, making it one of the strongest Android devices for under $300/£200.
