Is rice healthy or not is a common question that people ask and honestly it's a pretty convoluted answer because it really depends. When we look at rice it is a food that people consume in high amounts. Certain countries like China are the biggest consumers of rice and have been eating rice at a high level for thousands of years.
Is brown rice healthier than white rice is a topic that we have to explore further to find the true answer. White rice is stripped of its nutrients and as a results white rice is almost nutritionally useless. An interesting thing happens though with white rice. The strip the bran from it but when doing so they also strip the high arsenic content that is found in brown rice.
White rice vs brown rice is hard to understand. On one hand the brown rice is more nutrient dense but on the other, brown rice has all the arsenic making it toxic to consume.
