Will speaking in tongues save you?

First of all, this is an "in-house" discussion for Christians so let's treat it as such. Many within various Christian traditions put forward the idea of "speaking in tongues" as evidence for the salvific work of the Holy Spirit in the believer. You may or may not agree with Frank's answer, but in either case, check the Scriptures and don't make this a salvation issue.
