Everybody already knows that fruits are good for our health.

But don't think that just because they are natural, fruits can be eaten without any restriction.

Fruits are generally healthy foods, full of fiber, vitamins, and minerals and are responsible for giving us energy and regulating our body.

They can be consumed as juices, smoothies, salads, or by themselves.

But, how can eating too many fruits be a bad thing? When eaten in adequate portions, fruits bring only benefits to our health.

The issue here is how much. We need to be careful with fructose, the natural sugar of fruits.

In excess, fructose can change the electrolyte balance and overload the kidneys.

Since this excess isn't eliminated by the body, it can obstruct arteries and cause heart issues. This same issue can cause high blood pressure and weight gain.

But what happens if you too many watermelon slices?

Pregnant women need to pay double the attention, as in the second half of pregnancy, when the fetus presses the organs, even a few slices of watermelon can cause these symptoms.

Watermelon is usually seen as a diuretic food used in weight loss but, for a pregnant woman, it only causes issues.
