The original Million Dollar Decorator way before Bravo - Daniel Murphy Host and Co-Creator of the TV series stepped in with due diligence and started one of the first Makeover shows that is real not put on, nothing pushed, no conflict created like all the other series. Just follow the story of generous Businesses, and just average People, helping a total stranger with a picker upper, through a Personal and Room Makeover. and Co-Hosted by the talented Kasia Bodurka. To Produce/Direct/Edit The Million Dollar Makeover, I took a Simple Reality Documentary format, follow the story, nothing set up, other than some jokes to lighten the show. Please note we did not create chaos scenarios has many other Decorating Shows whom follow suite after us started doing in order to raise better ratings. Not a good thing. We kept it real, and it became a phenomena when our last episode made it National across Canada on the Roger Communications Network. We had 32 sponsors in total in the end with a cast and crew of 75 people, and our sponsors fitting the bill from 3000 dollars worth of curtains from Classic Drapery and Upholstery, to 1000 dollars worth of Paint from ICI paints, Accessories to 1000 - 2000 from Sure Fit Factory Outlet, to our Limousine service from Ultimate Limousine, Original Music Orin Isaacs MOCA Music, Royal Lepage Realtor Bonnie Vella, Holiday Inn Express, South Wood Bed & Breakfast, Cordon Sue's, LaFontaine's Haut Couture, The Power of Woman Exchange and many more unable to list here in full.
