OBEYING GOVERNMENT WHILE HONORING GOD

1 Peter 2:13-17 King James Version
13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;
14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.
15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:
16 As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
17 Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA GANG!!! How is everyone doing tonight? I have been deeply thinking about this morning's passage of scripture, and it brought a great deal of things to my mind. To start with I was extremely challenged by the questions from this morning's devotional, and I'd like to share these questions with you tonight. Please read these questions very carefully, and I pray that they will get you to thinking about how you relate to those in authority.

What do you typically do when you’re in a difficult situation under someone else’s authority?

How might God be trying to work in you through this?

I was also reminded of some things I learned from my study of Romans 13 a few years ago, and I'd like to share what God has put on my heart tonight. I have to say things have changed a lot in my heart about this issue from 2017, but there are still some things that remain the same. Please join me in this vlog and see for yourself how important it is to make sure that you are fearing God, as well as honoring authority! 😊

As I close this post for the evening, I encourage all those reading and watching this, to really think about what it means to be good citizens on this Earth, but most of all, to be good citizens of Heaven. I especially pray for those who are first responders, members of the military, and/or work within local, state, and federal government, because they have a truly difficult job, and need our support. I also pray for those who are dealing with a difficult situation under someone else’s authority, that God will give them the wisdom they need to do what is right, and the courage to do so. Most of all, I pray that we remember, that we have a responsibility to be a good testimony to the unsaved world around us, and this includes how we treat those in authority. I believe that it’s vital to be respectful good citizens to our local government, but most of all, we need to continue to be loyal to God!

UNTIL TUESDAY MY FRIENDS;

HAVE A BLISSFUL, PEACEFUL, AND SWEET EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
