Farm update with Keeton

The dog days of summer are here and we’ve been hunkering down in the cool house, but when Keeton and I found a moment to get outside and walk around the farm we jumped on it. We spend as much time outdoors as we can so this hot weather is hard on us but we can find a little reprieve in the evening shade.

Megan and Riley are out running errands and so Keeton and I take the chance to get out and walk around the farm. It’s been very hot lately so we haven’t done this much the past couple weeks. Keeton is our oldest and he’s to the age where his imagination is working in overdrive; you can see his face light up every time there’s something new to discover.

One reason we’ve “missed” a few videos over the past week is because I’ve been busy working on the old Ford 2N tractor. It’s not done yet but we’re mighty close and I’m really excited to share that with you all as soon as it’s done.

Part of why I enjoy farm life so much is watching the kids learn and grow, exploring the world around them. It’s how I grew up and I’m so thankful that my children get to experience this as well. We hope you enjoy it, too. Thanks for watching.
