Elon Musk proposes to buy Twitter for $41.5 billion Owner of Tesla and SpaceX had already bought almost 10% stake in the social network. In a letter to the president of Twitter, Musk offers US$ 54.20 per share and says he will reconsider being a shareholder in the company if the proposal is rejected.
