The Ancient Ley Lines Mysteries

Straight alignments between historic structures and important sites are known as ley lines. The concept was originated in early twentieth-century Europe, with ley line proponents claiming that ancient societies recognized these alignments and built structures along them on purpose.

Since the 1960s, followers of the Earth Mysteries movement and other esoteric traditions have held the belief that ley lines demarcate "earth energies" and act as navigational aids for alien spaceships. Pseudo-archaeology and pseudo-science are considered by archaeologists and scientists to be ley lines.
