My take on the Classic Mint Julep

Drink serves 2
In a cocktail stirring glass add to the bottom 3 sugar cubes and 3/4 of an oz simple syrup. On top of that add about 13-16 mint leaves. Muddle gently for about 10-15 seconds. Add 3-4 cubes of ice then add 6 oz of Bourbon (Jim Beam Devils Cut was used in ours). Use a bar spoon to stir for about 30 seconds. Get 2 Collins glasses (yes the glass matters) add 2-3 cubes of ice, and strain over in equal measure.
