Average Price For Mississauga Detached Home Increased By almost $400 k in 2021. All market segment monitored by the TRREB hit new record highs in December 2021 to cap off another record-setting year. In December, in Mississauga, average prices for detached homes increased by 27.7% month over month to $392 k, and year over year to $1,131 k for semi-detached homes. Both apartment and townhouse-style condos in Mississauga followed a similar pattern in 2021. Total sales for all dwelling types combined went up by 30.2% Year-over-year to $11 k.

Despite continuing waves of COVID-19, demand for ownership housing sustained a record pace in 2021. Economic growth plus extremely low borrowing costs not only increased demand for ground-oriented homes but also a resurgence in the condo segment.
