Emma: This guy he's a tech CEO he's not in the united states I believe based in the u.s.
Matt: We say to a tech CEO it's not like he's doing technology or how to teach kids to read well. it's read well I know I'm doing anything. He is a tech CEO in that he has an online stock brokerage.
Emma: Right. and this stuff is just so dystopian. Let's pull this up right here. and like yet another day in late-stage capitalism examples. We are running a fun health program at his company zero DHA online. Anyone on our team with a BMI of less than 25 gets half a month's salary as a bonus. The average body mass index of our team is 25.3 and if we can get it to below 24 by august everyone gets another one-half month as a bonus. It'd be fun to compete with other companies. smiley face. the lowest average BMI or the largest change in average BMI wins. the winner chooses a charity everyone else contributes to. Maybe a health tech company can run the initiative. if you want to do this at your company do post in the comments. Happy World Health day. ps, I know BMI isn't the best measure to track health and fitness but it is the easiest way to get started. With health and most other things in life, the most important bit is to get started. By the way, walking 10 000 steps daily is a great start if you've been wanting to get healthy. so the whole there's so much to say here. one you could just allocate that extra money that you're gonna give to the competitor of who loses the most weight in your anorexia competition for your employees so that they can get more money. and you could just give that to them in terms of salaries and benefits. there's just paying your workers. two the obsession with healthy living from really wealthy people is one of my biggest pet peeves. you know you could buy that in a big mac or you could buy some kale for that same amount of money. What are you going to do instead of that kind of stuff? like it's born of ignorance from people who can walk 10 000 steps daily. who I don't know might not have three minimum wage jobs that they have to work a week on a weekly basis that might preclude them from moderate exercise in order to get their BMI down.
