Gargamel wants to capture the Smurfs to have them as amulets.
Frightened, led by the Clumsy Smurf, the little ones enter a forbidden cave.
As it is a full moon, they end up transported through a portal to Central Park, in New York.
There, Clumsy, Grumpy, Smurfette, Genie, Papa Smurf and Brave find refuge with a couple.

Assustados, liderados pelo Smurf Desastrado, os pequeninos entram numa gruta proibida.
Como é Lua cheia, eles acabam transportados por um portal para o Central Park, em Nova York.
Lá, Desastrado, Ranzinza, Smurfette, Gênio, Papai Smurf e Valente encontram refúgio com um casal.
