This useful little portable fan from Funme is the first I have seen supplied with an accessory stand up base, it works much better than I expected.

In the box are the fan itself, charging cable, fan stand, wrist lanyard and a well written if rather small, User Guide. Build quality is lightweight, this is a handheld fan, but everything seems well made and robust enough for daily use.

On the front of the fan at the bottom of the handle is the lanyard strap hole with a corresponding one on the base, the single button control and status LED are on the hub of the fan on the back. The fan grill like the rest of the fan is plastic and is non removeable.

The handle of the three-blade fan fits into the supplied stand for when the device is on a flat surface, and this works pretty well although a heavier stand would keep the lightweight fan more securely upright. It has a single button that selects which of the three fan speeds you need and the output is surprisingly high for such a small device. Noise levels from the fan are low at all speeds and almost silent at the minimum output.

The fan is powered from a preinstalled 3500mAh Lithium-Ion battery, far more powerful than those of similar rivals I have tested. A short USB charging cable is provided. One charge will last between five and seventeen hours of operation depending on the fan settings. Yes, up to seventeen hours from a single charge and that is probably the main selling point of this little fan.

For the pre-discount £19.99 price, this is an excellent buy and great for use at the beach or when out and about in the summer as well as at home.
