When he entered Ars, there were four dance halls in the town, but not enough room or desire for one church. Through his priesthood, swearing turned to praying, people in the fields worked with a rosary in their hands and stopped to pray the Angelus at noon, dance halls emptied, the church filled, conversion came about!
