Footage from a failed coup attempt in Venezuela in 1992 shows an F-16 shooting down an OV-10 Bronco with a burst from the fighter jet's six-barrel 20mm Vulcan gatling cannon.

Turncoat pilots were using the OV-10 to supply rebel forces at various remote outposts. The loyalist pilot made predictably short work of the utility aircraft and sent it burning to the ground.

The coup was one of two failed attempts led by Hugo Chavez, who would later become the communist dictator of Venezuela after winning the presidential election in 1998. The F-16s were sold to Venezuela by the US prior to the socialist takeover.
