New pumps for our 55 and 58 gallon water barrels.

Today I test one of the new water pumps that I purchased for getting our emergency water out of our 55 and 58 gallon barrels. Unlike a lot of small pumps like this that require a very small hose I am testing it with a piece of 1/2 inch RV hose. I do not have the right clamps so one side does leak, but with the right clamps there would be no leaking. I also test it with a 4 Amp Fuse in a fuse holder to see if a 4 amp fuse would blow. That test is later in the video so if you want to see that test only go closer to the end. I purchased 2 pumps for around $14.25 Each The total for both pumps was $28.49. If you are planning to use pumps like this in large barrels then use 1/2 Hot Water PVC to make it easier for the pump to pull. I will use 1 pump for our food safe 55 gallon drum, and 1 pump for Both of our food safe 58 gallon drums. I plan on buying a small deep cycle battery and a smaller solar panel just for these pumps. This should have no problem running off a 15 amp or larger solar charger controller load.
