First group of refugees from Kharkov arrives in Russia

The Russian Defense Ministry carried out the transfer of the first group of refugees from the Kharkov region, specifically from the city of Izyum, with about 100 people, including ten children.

The bus set crossed the border and entered the Belgorod region via the Verigovka-Chugunovka automotive checkpoint. The convoy was escorted by Russian helicopters and military police vehicles to the Ukrainian border.

According to reports by refugees to Sputnik, Izyum was under constant fire from Ukrainian troops. The city and surroundings are "pretty dangerous", they said.
