Located 1.5-2hrs away from Montreal, Tam Bao Son is Vietnamese Buddhist Monastery that offers some level of peace/tranquility and makes you believe that you've been magically transported somewhere in Asia

Key Highlights:
- Free to enter and take pictures (although donations are accepted)
- Staff is friendly
- They normally serve free lunches; however, due to COVID they do offer some snacks; You're allowed to bring your own food onsite, so long as its vegetarian.
- Large area with trails offering scenic yet tranquil views...not to mention the magnificent Buddhist sculptures that dot the area: the GuanYin statue (handcrafted and imported from China) is the most impressive, and even be seen from the main road

When leaving the site, I would recommend that you take the southbound route to get some nice views of "la riviere rouge"

Words of Advice & Improvement Suggestions:
- More signs explaining the sculptures would be nice
- Those with walking difficulties would be advised to stay near the temple area
- The roads leading to the monastery aren't paved; drive carefully!
