Georgia's Constitutional Carry Law- What You Need to Know!

Brian Kemp signed Georgia's new Constitutional Carry law into effect this week. This is a controversial bill here in GA, but a net win for the 2A. I go over what the bill effectively does, why you may still want to keep your CCW permit, and some do's and don'ts for new carriers.

Keep in mind that this is a STATE law, and there are certain things that maintaining your permit can do for you, such as reciprocity in other states, or faster background check process.

FEDERAL Laws, such as the NICS background check, etc, are still in full effect.

Remember that carrying a firearm is a responsibility in addition to being a right. Get training, and practice regularly to maintain proficiency. You have a civil, moral, and legal obligation to be an asset instead of a liability to other citizens. We are also accountable for every round that leaves the muzzle of our firearms.
