Samurai Showdown V Perfect was originally developed for the Neo Geo MVS and went out on test where SNK management promptly canceled it - not because it was a bad game but due to internal company politics. The game was forgotten about until discovered in 2018, where it was released to the Nintendo Switch as a part of a Samurai Shodown collection. The arcade version will include some other fine tuning and will also bring the game to arcades where it always should have been.
