They said we EXPLOIT our Farm Animals!

Farms and homesteads get a lot of grief from “animal rights” activists online. When somebody, presumably a vegan, smarted off in a comment about how we as a small farm exploit our animals Megan took that personally. If you stand with us please consider subscribing to the channel, we’d sure love to have you stick around!

If you’re new around here we are Ragon and Megan, and we are raising our family and a handful of critters on about 10 acres in Western Kentucky. We want to put our land to work for us so we raise chickens, dairy goats, and put a beef steer in the freezer each year. It is our goal to be as self-sufficient as possible so we try to raise as much of our own meat as we can and this year we’re attempting to do better with a garden as well. We haven’t been doing this very long but we are learning every day and enjoying every second of it. It is hard work, but it’s important to us that our children know where food comes from and know how important it is to be a good steward of God’s Creation.

Animal rights activists and vegans, however, believe they know better than us, even though they’ve never spent a moment in our lives, caring for our animals, or doing what we do. They don’t know how much work goes into this because they don’t care to know.
T
he world is a big place and things aren’t often black and white. While it’s easy to sit behind a keyboard and mouth off in a comment section about how farms exploit their animals, until you understand the big picture you don’t come off as caring, you come off as ignorant.

Thank you so much for spending your time watching our channel. If you haven’t already, please consider subscribing so you won’t miss the next video. See y’all soon!
