1) Don't get yourself in this situation in the first place. Get your PPCT training, and understand the concepts of "Situational Awareness", "Reactionary Gap", and "21 Foot Rule".
2) A boxing gym, wrestling gym, cross-fit gym, or any gym modified for seniors is important to keep your body functional.
3) Just like a cop or soldier is responsible for every bullet that they fire, you are morally and legally liable for every swing you take.
