It was a wheelbarrow load at a time, hours of hauling. Fortunately the rest of the rabbit manure pile comes easy with appropriate technology. A farm tractor and dump bed saves my back from pain.

Recycling on-farm manures helps fertilize your homestead with high quality nutrients. It can be back breaking if you have a large growing area. The right tools help speed up work when you have them available.

This isn't a call to buy a dump bed for your truck, or to buy a tractor. With the right planning you can rent these tools if necessary. Even redesigning your composting areas helps too. Be thinking about appropriate tools even off-grid.
