EV: She got like cachet because she resigned from the DNC over the treatment of Bernie Sanders and like which right but we should understand there's a limitation to like just blanket criticism of the democratic party. There are a lot of you know online commentators who ride this wave as well when it's not grounded in like actual progressive principles

ML: It might be used as a vehicle for a cynic

SS: right and let's be clear you know you can quit the democratic party only because just like in the same way that you quit another business and you're like I'm not moving up enough in this organization all of a sudden it's a problem.

EV: And you can find a convenient way to justify said resignation that helps.

SS: you should always do that right i mean if you're gonna

EV: she saved face expertly for a few years
