The Honda CB Twister occupies a special place in the Brazilian motorcycle industry. It is a model that, since its launch in October 2015, has led sales in its segment, and which for three years has been offering as an exclusive differential versions with different brake systems, ABS or CBS.

Offering different brake technologies in the same model fulfills the important purpose of serving customers with different profiles. Beginners, for whom CBS braking is very suitable, and those with more experience with the handlebars, who can opt for ABS braking.

It is true that both systems are capable of guaranteeing excellent performance in terms of safety, however, the differentiation not only sets a step in terms of price, but also meets the individual preferences of customers, rewarded by this exclusive technical refinement from CB Twister.

Naked agile, which combines economy, practicality and performance, the CB Twister combines this undisputed tripod of qualities with an inspired design, which brings it closer to prestigious models of the CB family, such as the CB 500F or CB 650R.

The success of the CB Twister is also due, among many other reasons, to its dual personality: a motorcycle that is so capable of attracting newbies, who choose it as a successive step to the utilitarian ones like Pop, Biz or even the CG, as it is also chosen by the most experienced, who value agility for urban use and good performance on the highway, which does not determine excessive exercise cost.

The Honda CB Twister's low weight, 137 kg, is certainly a factor that contributes to great handling and ease of driving. The structure - diamond-type tubular steel chassis - offers strength and manoeuvrability, and is paired with a telescopic front suspension with 130 mm of travel and a monoshock at the rear, with 108 mm of travel. 17-inch alloy wheels shod with radial tires, measures 110/70 at the front and 140/70 at the rear, complement a reference cycling part.

The CB Twister's efficiency has as its essential ally the 4T, air-cooled, four-valve, single-cylinder OHC engine, powered by PGM-Fi electronic injection and equipped with FlexOne technology. With 22.4 hp (gasoline) and 22.6 hp (ethanol) of maximum power, it displays torque of 2.24 kgf.m (gasoline) and 2.28 kgf.m (ethanol), figures that guarantee the CB Twister best power-to-weight ratio in its class.

The highly efficient technical apparatus is completed with items that make driving the CB Twister a superior experience, such as the black-out panel equipped with a complete on-board computer and the modern set of taillights and LED turn signals.

A careful ergonomic study has made the CB Twister an example in terms of comfort, in which the handlebars and the bi-level seat stand out. Croup straps are also useful for lashing luggage and as an aesthetic element of great effect, together with the tapered taillight and license plate holder with integrated turn signals.
The 2022 Honda CB Twister will be available at Honda dealerships nationwide from December. The warranty is three years, unlimited mileage, plus seven free oil changes.
