Many real estate investors, stock investors, and retirees are focused on the inflation report and the consumer price index. While yes, this is very important especially when we considering increased mortgage rates now at 5.25% up from 2.875% just six months ago. The big story is what will they do next to combat rising costs, poverty and the affordability crisis that is plaguing Americans from all walks of life? We are going to see a massive affordability crisis like we have never before seen and I believe the way they combat this is universal basic income and price controls however price controls never go as planned. They usually cause more food shortages, crime and undercover business which equates to increased prices.
