PORSCHE TAYCAN GTS SPORT TURISMO with 598 hp and range up to 504 km

GTS stands for Gran Turismo Sport. Since the 1963 Porsche 904 Carrera GTS, these three letters have had a special meaning for Porsche fans. Now, there is a derivative that features this legendary letter combination across all Porsche model series. one that contains the acronym GTS. With a range of up to 504 km, based on WLTP figures, the new sports model is the first Taycan to exceed the 500 km mark.

The third body version of the first all-electric Porsche model series makes its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in the form of the Taycan GTS Sport Turismo. The newest model shares its sporty silhouette and backward curved roofline with the Taycan Cross Turismo.

"The Taycan model lineup has grown continuously since its worldwide launch in 2019. The three body styles with up to five powertrain proposals offer something for everyone," says Kevin Giek, Vice President of the Taycan Line. "I'm particularly happy that we now also have a Taycan with the legendary GTS in the name. It's above the Taycan 4S and below the Taycan Turbo versions, so it represents a true ideal balance point in the lineup."

The Taycan GTS is the complete sports car in the model line. It has an impressive 440 kW (598 PS) of overboost power when using launch control. Acceleration from zero to 100 km/h can be achieved in 3.7 seconds in both bodywork versions. The duo's maximum speed is 250 km/h.

As a representative of the new generation Taycan, the GTS has an especially efficient driving strategy. The other Taycan models also received this update in the new annual model. In practice, this extends the line of operation.

Adaptive air suspension, including PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) active suspension, is specifically adapted to the GTS to take advantage of lateral dynamics. The optional rear axle steering setup is also sportier. The enhanced Porsche Electric Sport Sound underlines the character of the new GTS model.

The exterior and interior are distinct. There are several black or dark accents on the exterior, the faceplate, the outside mirror bases and the side window frames – as is traditional on a GTS. The various black Race Tex features on the interior enhance the elegant and dynamic ambience, as does the brushed aluminum interior package with a black anodized finish.

Panoramic roof with sunlight control: clear or matte at the touch of a finger
A panoramic roof with sunlight control is available as an extra option for the Taycan GTS. An electrically changeable liquid crystal film can switch the ceiling from clear to matte. This shields occupants from light without darkening the interior.

The roof is divided into nine individually interchangeable segments – a world first in the automotive sector. In addition to transparent and matte settings, semi and dark options can also be selected. They are predefined templates with narrow or wide segments.
