Emma: I'm honestly baffled that so many conservatives are going so hard on something so libelous and defamatory as Disney pedophilic. don't they know that Disney has some of the most well-paid well-staffed lawyers in the country? If they get sued similarly to the dominion voting machine critics it will be a great silver lining. yeah.
Matt: I don't like libel laws. and I don't want to encourage Disney Disney's lawyers.
Brandon: I think you know that's the one thing that occasionally you know I don't want to support Disney in any way. but that is the one thing that occasionally I think right-wing content creators like to brush up against like reality and the fact that other companies I mean rather this country does have laws about that and it's amazing. I'm thinking about Alex Jones and losing that suit. recently and you know the biggest champions of like: cancer culture is wrong. canceling culture is wrong. we'll defend them until the lawsuit actually drops. and it seems like it's gonna you know the conviction happens. and suddenly they're just persona non grata. It's like yeah you know occasionally like spreading these kinds of rumors has rather actual consequences in the real world. and there's been a you know there's been an effort online to insulate people who spread these kinds of rumors online. or you know just like out and out say lies online to raise their sort of you know their earning potential in certain spaces. that to insulate them from the consequences of doing that offline. whether it be like the you know losses from dominion or Disney or from just the victims of their you know propaganda. and that's all just been encompassed under like the conversation of like cancel culture. should someone be canceled just for their ideas even if those ideas are that that disney is making like pedophile coloring books.
