Russia Threatens To Deploy Nuclear Weapons In The Baltic If Sweden & Finland Join NATO

The Western nations have ramped up support for Kyiv while Moscow appears to tackle back the sanctions imposed by the rest of the world. Kyiv captured Putin's ally and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy proposed a swap for the Kremlin leader's aide's release.
Dmitry Medvedev, deputy head of Russia’s Security Council, said that Moscow would have to strengthen its defenses in the region, and "there can be no more talk" of nuclear-free Baltics. Sweden and Finland both have indicated that they might join the US-led military alliance soon
