As you may know traditional pesto is rather high in calories and fat, so today I'd like to show you a healthier version of this pesto sauce.

This homemade asparagus pesto not only offers a wealth of nutrients and flavor, but it also help you FEEL FULLER FOR LONGER, IMPROVE SPORTS PERFORMANCE and contribute to maintain an HEALTY GUT.

As a nutrient-packed vegetable, asparagus is also full of benefits that I explain in more details in the video together with its history! So DON'T MISS IT!

Homemade asparagus pesto recipe below: (portions for two people)

- 1 bunch asparagus spears (about 1 lb)
- some fresh basil leafs
- 1/4 cup of pine nuts
- 1 colve garlic, peeled
- 50 g of greek feta or tofu if vegan
- 1 shallot or half onion
- 1/4 of almonds (up to you)

Low-calorie and healthy tips: 😉
Use linseeds oil instead of olive oil, lighter and healthier options!
Also good to use hemp seeds oil or grape seeds oil, which are lighter and beneficial!
