The Cuban Crisis: Sanctions and Shortages

As I covered recently on the Cuban protests and for why the Cuban people are protesting, I decided on request to cover briefly the reason for the Cuban crisis, what effectively led the Cuban people to breaking point you're seeing currently.

Socialists constantly bleat off about the economic sanctions, the embargo's, but as I address in this video, the U.S. embargo, although a problem, it wasn't the main driving factor behind the Cuban crisis that resulted in the widespread shortages and soaring costs. As you find with every socialist regime, the government restrictions over the economy is largely to blame.

Like I pointed out before, there is absolutely nothing stopping Cuba from trading with other countries surrounding it and in this video I touch upon the problems Cuba is facing relative to trade and how price controls resulted in their widespread shortages.

The reason socialists are desperate to swerve past all of this to pretend it was sanctions by the U.S. is simply because they care more about protecting the reputation and name of their precious religious ideology, socialism over that of the people suffering firsthand as a result of what socialism has caused.

Like I touched upon previously, I strongly suspect that Cuba will be heading in the direction towards phase 3 after being stuck between phase 2 and 3 for decades, but the socialists are running out of excuses.
