I have worked in a Inpatient Drug Recovery Clinic as a Counselor Supervisor five years.
I have volunteered several years with a local memory care facility, and am close to family who work there as well as staff for over 20 years. My Grandmother had Dementia. My mother is in mid stages at this time. I have also been active these 20 years in the ALZ Walk for a Cure.
I have also been a advocate, for those with disabilities and cognitive difficulties. Troubleshooting these difficulties for close to 30 years.
