Nightjar choir in FL

Chuck-wills-widow aka goatsucker, from the Nightjar family heard nightly in spring on family farm in Florida. These birds are not only interesting looking, but also have an interesting myth attached to them. They were called goatsuckers as they were believed to drink goats milk at night. They say this is due to the fact that these birds like to hang out around goats and eat the bugs. But in the days where we are learning so much we were told isn't true it makes one wonder the true tale behind the story.
