Today, everyone is judge, jury, and executioner—because it’s easy to join a mob and criticize someone, but it’s hard to forgive and co-exist. But forgiveness must be our pillar of justice.
Abolitionist and revolutionary thinker Frederick Douglass exemplified this. He was able to say to his former owner, “I love you, but hate slavery.”
If Frederick Douglass can show forgiveness, surely Americans today can as well. #SolutionsInSeconds #Cancelled #FrederickDouglass
