It is the true story of Father Stuart Long, a priest of the diocese of Helena. The film is a passion project of Mark Wahlberg’s and he stars as Father Stu in the Universal/Sony release coming out Holy Week. Mel Gibson plays Stu’s dad. The film spectacularly tells the story of the transformative power of God and the love and sacrifice that accompanies the calling to serve Christ in the priesthood.
