Howdy YouTubers!today we gots us a real dilly of a pickle! we're putting a filter cover onto an open topped container to catch MDF dust. to support the filter cover and the rain tarp, we first need to install a rafter web. the apex rafter of the "roof" is also going to do double duty as an integral part of the fire suppression system. the nozzles will be installed at a later time when we have a little slack in the maintenance schedule.the apex rafter is raised about 6 inches above the rim of the container, which incidentally is at a slant and the container itself is wider at the rear than it is at the bulkhead, so cutting all of the barge rafters to the same dimension is not an option. so the only way to get varying accurate measurements for each rafter, we have to use a template that is somewhat shorter than the shortest span the rafters cover.
