Let's Play - Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin part 12

We explore more of the Crystal Mirage and I try to get that purple orb on the bottom of the set of descending platforms to unlock a hidden mission, but I didn't see after I beat the boss. What did I do wrong?
