Lukashenko: We’ve finally started trading using Russian rubles, buying natural gas, oil, and so on.

Lukashenko: In today's world it is impossible to suppress someone! Let alone such a huge country like Russia. An absolutely self-sufficient country. A country which believed in globalism once and opened its markets to its partners. And they acted the way you know. We tell them: fine, goodbye! As people say: see you later! We will organize our life on our own. And we can do everything.

Belarus is satisfied with trading with Russia using Russian rubles. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made the statement after negotiations with President of Russia Vladimir Putin at the Vostochny Cosmodrome in Russia’s Amur Oblast on 12 April.
