1:06 The Bog Witch. It has low chance of dropping Soma Drops. Now this is only temporarily til your party members is stronger. I also showed that i have Rare Bands V2. Unsure if regular Rare Bands that you can buy has same effect as Rare Bands V2. But i grinded for 5 alltogheter just to be sure. I may test it once i get to Depths, but for now this is how you do it to get stronger

Here is how to get Rare Bands V2. You have to shift to "Waning Moon" and go to this place from teleportation to get there faster which is "Tower of Babil - B3" then go to teleportation to "Lair of the Father - B1" There you should find a lone Green Dragon that drops "Green Tail". Be sure to equip Rare Bands, then when you have enough Rare Bands. Which to me is 5 in total. Then just go and grind for what you need. Which is to me the Bog Witch, because its a starter to make weak party members more stronger. Because if you go to "Depths" now as you are.. you will just get wrecked.

And here is where you want to be. Soma Drops and Golden Apples have high rates of dropping. Some Malboro enemies have 30% chance of drop rates of Soma Drop. And i heard Fiend Dragon has 100% drop of Golden Apples. So this is technically where you want to grind. Or past this area " 5:45 " to be exact. I remember it from my last playthrough, its the room with the Maenads where these enemies spawn into place, just walk back and forth here. Have Rare Bands V2 equipped and you should be getting plenty of it!

Hope this tutorial helped people who are confused on how to get Soma Drops or Golden Apples "which is opposite in FF4 where its Silver Apples you need to get"

But this should help you on your way!

And yes, i cheated. Mainly thanks to this webpage for helping me!

edit: One more info. When you are level 40. I may recommend going to Subterrane B11. Because it will take somewhat slower time if you keep leveling up there. Besides "Dark Sage" has Soma Drops too. When you are level 70. Thats probably when you are high enough level to go to the designated area, which is B9 of Depths, and grind for Soma Drops and Golden Apples there while leveling up everyone.
