STOP WORRYING ABOUT YOUR TANK

Your tank will not get sick from a stray microbe. It will become sick if you do something terrible, or if there is a fire, or a flood, or some catastrophe, or maybe just a child dumping a can of food in the tank. THAT will make the tank sick. Do not be afraid to strengthen the microbial life in your tank. Good drives out bad. If your tank is healthy adding new life will not upset it.
