How Full Is Your Cup?

Back in 1984 when I was in 9th grade, I was at that age of trying to figure out who I was. Being the only Christian in my entire school, that I was aware of, it wasn't easy taking a stand for Jesus all alone. In that year of searching, I decided it was time for a change in friends. If you’ve ever heard the phrase “Show me your friends and I’ll show you your future…” Well, that was definitely true. I went from hanging out with the 'nicer' kids in school to the 'party-type' kids in school. Why? I was trying to see where I fit in and through that I discovered the greatest lesson of what the power of influence is when you hang out with the wrong crowd.
