Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ) was one of the most polarizing Presidents to ever be sworn in in the history of our nation. Lyndon B. Johnson was elected vice president in 1960 and acceded to the presidency in 1963 upon the assassination of Pres. John F. Kennedy.
He was much loved and also greatly hated. As president, some people remember him as kind, generous, compassionate, considerate, decent, and devoted to advancing the well-being of the least advantaged out of all the Presidents.
