Deadly floods hit South Africa

The Durban area of South Africa has recently been battered with heavy rains and floods, claiming lives of reportedly at least 45 people. According to local officials, the port, major highways and surrounding areas in KwaZulu-Natal province are significantly damaged. Rescue operations are underway, as residents flee the threatened areas.
