Anger gets a bad rap because it gets associated to violent behavior. Indeed when we’ve tolerated the unacceptable for so long the pressure can become so intense that a person may totally lose control and become violent. But anger at its essence is not evil at all! It is an intelligent survival response, a powerful vital energy we need to establish and maintain clear and healthy bounderies in our interactions and be able to respond appropriately to disempowering situations.
