On this week's show, we talk about the end of the ice fishing season and start looking ahead to open water fishing! As the season winds down, the attention turns to Eelpout or Burbot, so we talked to Big Nasty Tackle owner Matt Erickson about the popularity of their jigs and spoons for Eelpout and why they work so well.
We also talk to Erik Osberg to get an Ottertail County fishing report and see how the show season is going for him. Then we talk to Joe Henry from Lake of the Woods Tourism to get an update on the big lake. We also get his opinions on the increase of pressure on lakes and how other people have varying opinions.
First, Bret Amundson, Dan Amundson and David Eckhardt talk about what they've been up to, including some eelpout fishing, open water fishing, panfishing and even chasing Rainbow Trout. Bret talks about his recent adventure sight fishing for trout, and then his time ice climbing in Sandstone.
Dan tells us about the time he got bit by an alligator.
