The 6mm ARC or Advanced Rifle Cartridge was designed by Hornady to be the highest performance long-range cartridge available in a standard AR platform rifle.

Initially tested and fielded by US Special Operations forces, the 6mm ARC utilizes efficient, high-BC bullets to deliver unprecedented long-range performance with a wide variety of available bullets.

Wilson Combat offers the 6mm ARC 18 inch fluted, threaded, match-grade barrels in our 6mm ARC Tactical Hunter rifle. All barrels are rifled with a 1 and 7.5 twist.

The Tactical Hunter is the ideal AR for hunting or general tactical and defensive use. The adjustable butt stock gives you the ability to adapt the gun’s size to various size shooters. The Wilson Combat M-LOC rail is lightweight but rugged and designed for heavy use.

The Lightweight Billet Upper and Billet Lower Receiver are machined from solid Aluminum.

Commercial 6mm ARC loads feature bullets selected to deliver ideal performance for hunting, match shooting, and personal protection applications. The 6mm ARC uses commonly available 6.5 Grendel magazines and bolts.
