‘Voting against a language only because it’s Russian is discrimination’ – UNESCO representative

As the canceling of Russian culture spreads in the West, a proposal to celebrate a day of the Russian language has reportedly been rejected at UNESCO. The organization’s deputy permanent Russian representative Tatyana Dovgalenko says it is indeed against international law, and the founding principles of the United Nations and of UNESCO itself.
