#22: How To Welcome Prophetic Ministry In The Local Church

Many leaders wonder how to welcome prophetic ministry into the local church. It may not be as complicated as you might think. Like pastoral or evangelistic ministry, Prophetic ministry needs to meet the same standards of I Timothy 3:1-7. Just because someone claims to be prophetic does not mean we accept their words at face value. On the other hand, many churches have an invisible sign outside that reads: "Prophets Not Allowed." As a result, the Church of Christ is hampered towards Christ's Purpose (Ephesians 4:11-13). Today, I focus on practical steps to welcome prophetic ministry into the local church that will help, not hinder, ministry.
